The designation of these transcripts is as recommended at the VIIIth International Workshop on Glucuronidation and the Glucuronosyltransferases, University of Iowa, May 19–22, 1996. Oligonucleotide primers used for the analysis of the UGT1 transcripts were based upon the DNA sequences deposited in GenBank.
