Reaction conditions were the same as those of fig. 2. Products were quantified by GC/MS as trimethylsilylated derivatives. Total amounts were calculated as the sum of the values obtained foripso-substitution and o-hydroxylation. Values are expressed as means ± SE (N = 3).
