↵2-a The kinetic constants were calculated from initial velocity measurements by the HPLC procedure described inMaterials and Methods. For the glu¹⁵⁸-human FMO3 MBP, 30 μg of protein in 50 mM potassium phosphate buffer, pH 9.0 was used in each incubation. For the lys¹⁵⁸-human FMO3, MBP 45 μg of protein in 50 mM potassium phosphate buffer, pH 9.0 was used in each incubation.
