  • Male Fischer 344 rats were administered [14C]NDPS (approximately 10 μCi, ip in corn oil) at three different doses (0.2, 0.4, and 0.6 mmol/kg). Urine and feces were collected for 24 hr and were analyzed for radiolabeled content by liquid scintillation counting. Liver and kidneys were removed and homogenized. Radioactivity in aliquots of the homogenized tissues was determined by liquid scintillation counting. Values represent means ± SE (N = 4 rats).

  • 3-a Values that are significantly different (p < 0.05) from the corresponding results at a dose of 0.2 mmol/kg.

  • 3-b Values that are significantly different (p < 0.05) from the corresponding results at a dose of 0.4 mmol/kg.
