Silver grain counts are mean of 10 follicles ± 1 S.D. from two individuals. Percentage of positive sebaceous glands were figured from counts of 200 sebaceous glands. Positive glands had more than 100 silver grains present per gland. Background silver grain counts were five grains per 625 μm2 field.
