↵4-a Plasma was treated for determination of total amount of silybin (conjugated and unconjugated) with β-glucuronidase/arylsulfatase mixture for 4 h at 37°C in shaking water bath for enzymatic cleavage of silybin conjugates (Weyhenmeyer et al., 1992; Mascher et al., 1993; Rickling et al., 1995).
