Effect of individual ginsenosides on CYP1A2 catalytic activity

7-Ethoxyresorufin O-dealkylation assay was performed with human recombinant CYP1A2 in the presence of Rb1 (4.56 μg/ml), Rb2 (0.31 μg/ml), Rc (1.09 μg/ml), Rd (1.43 μg/ml), Re (2.36 μg/ml), Rg1 (0.24 μg/ml), or methanol (0.02%, vehicle control). The concentrations of the individual ginsenosides reflect those found in an inhibitory concentration (100 μg/ml) of NAGE (Fig. 2B). Data are shown as mean ± S.E.M. for three independent experiments.
