Contents of STs in the cytosolic fractions of human liver and intestine and in hepatoma cells were determined by immunoblot analyses as described under Experimental Procedures. Each value represents mean ± S.D. Contents of hepatoma cells were from triplicate determinations. n.d., not detected (less than 1 pmol/mg cytosolic protein).
