  • For NE-100 metabolism in the liver, Km1 andVmax1 represent apparent affinity constant and apparent maximum metabolic activity for high-affinity components, andKm2 and Vmax2 represent apparent affinity constant and apparent maximum metabolic activity for low-affinity components. CLint in liver was calculated as the sum of the ratio of Vmax to Km in high- and low affinity components based on two enzyme model. For NE-100 metabolism in the intestine, Km andVmax represent apparent affinity component and apparent maximal metabolic activity. CLint in intestine was calculated as the ratio of Vmax toKm.
