Numbering of nucleotides is according to the GenBank accession numbers AC008177.3 (promoter and exons 1–21) and AC069165.2 (newer classification AC069137.6) (exons 22–28). Positions of polymorphisms are counted with respect to the BSEP translation start (Exon 2) with the A of the start ATG being +1 and the 5′-following base being –1. The numbers 1 to 53 in the variant ID column indicate all variants included in haplotype analysis and linkage disequilibrium estimation.
