Effect of EIP on activation of APAP by hepatic microsomes from wild-type and Cyp2e1(–/–) mice

Hepatic microsomes from wild-type and Cyp2e1(–/–) mice, treated as described in the legend to Fig. 2, were analyzed for the activation of APAP to NAPQI, measured as the rate of formation of APAP-SG, as described under Materials and Methods, using a concentration of 0.5 mM APAP. Each value represents the mean ± S.D. of microsomes from four to seven animals. Data were analyzed by ANOVA with multiple comparisons testing.
