TABLE 3

Comparison of lithocholic acid metabolite formation with testosterone 6β-hydroxylase activity in four human liver microsome samples

Details of the human liver donors are as follows: HH13, Asian male, 55 years of age; HG95, Hispanic female, 47 years of age; HH18, African American female, 78 years of age; and HH837, Asian female, 52 years of age. Testosterone 6β-hydroxylase activities were determined by BD Biosciences. The r2 value is the square of the correlation coefficient (i.e., coefficient of determination) determined for testosterone 6β-hydroxylase activities and rates of metabolite formation of individual lithocholic acid metabolites of the four human liver samples.
