Effect of inhibitors on in vivo [3H]nicotine uptake by rat liver

[3H]Nicotine (1.8 μCi/rat) and [14C]n-butanol (0.18 μCi/rat) dissolved in 200 μl Ringer-HEPES buffer (pH 7.4) were injected into the portal vein in the absence (control) or presence of inhibitors (50 mM). Each value represents the mean ± S.E.M. (n = 3–5).
