Inhibitory effect of several compounds on the uptake of [3H]nicotine or [3H]pyrilamine by rat hepatocytes

The uptake of [3H]nicotine (1 µCi/ml, 12 nM) and [3H]pyrilamine (1 µCi/ml, 50 nM) was measured at 37°C for 1 minute and 30 seconds, respectively, in the absence (control) or presence of compounds (1 mM). Each value represents the mean ± S.E.M. (n = 3–6).
