2018, Journal of Chromatography ACitation Excerpt :The metabolite M3 was proposed to be 17-epi-methylstenbolone based on the similarity of its GC/MS/MS and LC/HRMS mass spectra with those of methylstenbolone (data not shown). M3 eluted before methylstenbolone on the GC column (Table 1), which was consistent with the literature that TMS-derivatives of 17α-hydroxyl steroids would elute earlier than their 17β-hydroxyl counterparts [16,19,23]. On the contrary, M3 eluted after methylstenbolone on the LC column.
