      Moreover, having as ultimate goal, to provide a generic protocol for the development of MIP-based ETs towards almost any other analyte. In this context, overdose of PA, which is widely used as an analgesic and antipyretic drug, could lead to fatal hepato- and nephro-toxic effects (Vale and Proudfoot, 1995). Precisely, its wide availability in conjunction with its relatively high toxicity lead to PA being one of the most common causes of poisoning worldwide (Prince et al., 2000).
