The metabolite was identified as its mono- and di-trifluoroacetyl derivatives by comparison of their GC and GC-mass spectral properties with those of synthetic compounds. The amount of metabolite increased on hydrolyzing the urine from dosed dogs and monkeys with a preparation containing beta-glucuronidase and sulfatase.
