AB  - In two dogs p-hydroxymephenytoin, m-hydroxymephenytoin, 5-ethyl-5-phenylhydantoin (nirvanol), and 5-ethyl-5-(p-hydroxyphenyl)hydantoin (p-hydroxynirvanol) were identified by use of synthetic metabolites as standards for comparison.
