Assays were conducted using 5.0 mM UDP-glucuronic acid and 0.2 mM sapogenin. Glucuronidation rates are given as mean ± SEM of three to four liver samples. ND indicates that glucuronidation of this compound was not detected (limit of detection = 0.005 nmol glucuronide formed/min × mg protein).
