Values are the mean ± S.D. of three individual experiments realized in six copies. Rat hepatocytes were cultured in the presence of various concentrations of macrolides during 24 h. After the treatment period, cytotoxicity was assessed by the measure of the reduction of MTT and the Neutral Red test, as described underMaterials and Methods.
