The area under the curve from 0 to 300 min estimated using the trapezoidal rule for cocaine, cocaethylene, and benzoylecgonine. The AUCs for cocaine (3 mg/kg) and cocaethylene (2.6 mg/kg) are similar as are their respective benzoylecgonine metabolite AUCs. The change in benzoylecgonine metabolite AUCs with the coadministration of ethanol are identical as demonstrated by equal changes in the benzoylecgonine to parent AUC ratio.
