Kinetic parameters of the uptake of ketoprofen and indomethacin by freshly isolated rat hepatocytes The kinetic parameters for the uptake of ketoprofen and indomethacin by freshly isolated rat hepatocytes (data were taken from Fig. 4) were obtained by fitting the uptake-concentration curve to the three equations assuming 1) one saturable and one nonsaturable component (Km1, Vmax1, and Pdiff), 2) two saturable components (Km1, Vmax1, Km2, and Vmax2), and 3) two saturable and one nonsaturable component (Km1, Vmax1, Km2, Vmax1, and Pdiff). The details of fitting are described in Materials and Methods. Values are means ± computer-calculated S.D.
