Effect of perinatal low protein diets on hexobarbital sleep time, hexobarbital hydroxylase activity, and CYP2C12 protein expression in young adult rats

A hexobarbital sleep time test was conducted in 58-day-old male and female rats, whereas hexobarbital hydroxylase activity and CYP2C12 protein expression were measured in 65-day-old female rats. Values are means ± S.D., n = 7–8. Differences between low protein diet groups and the non-purified diet group were not evaluated.
