Bioavailability and clearances of VP after administration of racemic VP to rats
Calculation of each bioavailability (n = 4) from the in vivo study are given in detail under Materials and Methods. Hepatic blood clearance was calculated from the hepatic blood flow (Qliver 60 ml/min/kg) and the hepatic extraction ratio (1 – Fh). Hepatic intrinsic clearance was calculated by a parallel tube model [Fh = EXP(–fub × CLint/Qliver)].
