Potency of noscapine and several chemical derivatives to elicit cytotoxicity in drug-sensitive and -resistant breast cancer cell lines

The potencies of drugs to inhibit cell proliferation (IC50) were determined using the MTT assay described in the Materials and Methods. Values (mean ± S.E.M.) were obtained by nonlinear regression of the general dose-response relationship. The values in parentheses correspond to the number of independent observations.
